Tumblr used to be about confessionals, online journals with puzzling and heated dilemma and discussions among intellectuals seeking answers and consolation.

Here begins the erosion.

Next was the music sharing phase. Yeah, I bet you new people are like “what?” When’s the last time you posted just a music clip?

Then tumblr moved to its stoner/philosophical and mortality movement with lame statements like “Be nice to the Earth, ‘cause that’ll be you in a few years.”

Possibly worst of all was the Facebook immigration. Some people can’t keep it’s mouths shut. “I’m gonna post this facebook conversation on Tumblr, then everyone will laugh at you! Mehhh!” Now they all know about it. There goes any scrap of sanctity that was left. Way to go big mouth.

Anon haters and hater-haters were big at this point. Pointless.

And who could forget the “influential” fad? ‘Cause putting “You’re beautiful” on a crappy piece of paper gave everyone the utmost confidence.

Next was this “Hipster” schtick that is ill-defined. If you said you were hipster or if someone said you were, then you were. Wishy washy blarney, I say.

After and during came the influx of pictures, so much so that it is just another instagram. Of course a couple memes are funny, but not everything is a meme. People need to get over it.

And where there are pictures, there are dirty pictures. This is the present. Pornography abound. Great, now my computer is no longer safe. And all sanctity-vanished.

The worst part of it all is that this will go unread because you will pass it up for that stupid SpongeBob picture you’ve seen 15 times. Congratulations to all who made this horrible series of events possible. You all deserve another facebook-instagram hybrid/knock-off. Thank you. And goodnight.
